How to Test Your Website for WCAG 2.1 AA in 30 Seconds (Free)

Step-by-step walkthrough of how to test any website for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance using our free scanner, plus what to do with the results.

How to Test Your Website for WCAG 2.1 AA in 30 Seconds (Free)

Testing your website for accessibility used to require either paying a consultant €500+ or installing a heavy browser extension. Not anymore.

Here is the fastest way to get a real WCAG 2.1 AA score on any website — in under 30 seconds, with no signup required.

Step 1: Open the scanner

Go to [growifysupport.online/compliance/scan](https://growifysupport.online/compliance/scan/). No login. No credit card. No "start your free trial" walls.

Step 2: Enter your URL

Type your full URL into the form. You can test any domain — `.com`, `.eu`, `.de`, `.nl`, `.co.uk`, whatever. The scanner handles them all.

Step 3: Submit

Click Scan. The tool will:

  • Fetch your homepage (and 2–3 inner pages)
  • Run the axe-core accessibility engine (the same one used by most paid auditors)
  • Check 30+ WCAG 2.1 AA criteria including color contrast, alt text, ARIA labels, form labels, heading structure, link text, and document language
  • Generate a scored report with prioritized fixes

You get a score out of 10, plus a list of every issue with the exact line of code that needs fixing.

Step 4: Read the score

  • 9–10/10 — Passes EAA. You are compliant.
  • 7–8/10 — Borderline. A few issues could become violations after a content update.
  • 5–6/10 — Below safe threshold. Likely non-compliant under EAA enforcement.
  • Below 5 — High risk. Fix before going live to EU customers.

Step 5: Take action

For sites below 8/10, you have three options:

  1. Fix it yourself — If you have a developer and the issues are mostly alt text and contrast, you can knock out 80% of fixes in a day.
  2. Hire us — We do full EAA audits for €197 through Q3 2026 (founding-client rate).
  3. Get a competitor to do it — Most accessibility consultancies charge €2,000–€8,000.

Why this matters now

The EAA became enforceable in June 2025. Consumer groups in Germany, France, and the Netherlands are already filing complaints against non-compliant sites. If you sell to EU customers and your site has not been tested, you are exposed.

The free scanner is a fast way to find out where you stand before someone else tells you the bad news first.
